About the event

Researchers at Princeton University have developed a camera called the Metasurface. This allows new innovations through the medical field, machine learning AI, and the development of new technologies. Through the innovation of the Metasurface, utilizing the size of the camera, the medical field will be able to create clearer pictures through an endoscopy Since the cameras take better pictures than traditional camera lenses allowing for better diagnostic of patients. Furthermore, through machine learning, utilizing the clearer and better color ranges of the cameras, AI would be able to gather large amounts of data with accurate color ranges and become trained to be put into self-driving cars. Also since Metasurface is cheaper to manufacture and create, smartphones that have 3 cameras on the back may in the future have the whole back as cameras.
